美国加州圣罗莎（Santa Rosa）8月14日举行第50届世界最丑狗大赛，一隻雌性巴哥犬Jinny Lu夺得冠军，赢得5,000美元（3.9万港元）奖金。
Jinny Lu去年已拿下亚军，牠原在韩国获动物福利组织救出并送到美国。牠舌头歪伸、眼睛突出、满脸皱纹，主人格雷迪（Michelle Grady）除奖金外，还将与爱犬飞往纽约亮相NBC晨间节目。
主办方表示，赛事举办50年，目的不是取笑「丑狗」，而是突显牠们的可爱之处，并呼吁公众领养被遗弃动物。
