万斯发长文将共和党失利归咎伊朗战争

　　美国于11月3日举行中期选举，部份选票仍在统计中，但结果已尘埃落定：代表民主党大胜的「蓝色海啸」席捲全国，连多个共和党铁票仓也告失守。副总统万斯（JD Vance）11月4日（周三）在X平台发长文，将共和党的失利归咎于伊朗战争，并指总统特朗普（Donald Trump，又译川普）亦承认如此。

　　万斯写道，「我们失败的原因就是（伊朗）战争。总统昨晚自己也这么说了。」

　　万斯指，共和党必须做四件事才能让选民回心转意：结束伊朗战争、关注通货膨胀、美国优先以及「改变我们与以色列的关係」。

　　万斯表示，「对于那些对选举结果感到愤怒的人，你们应该感到愤怒。让我们把这种愤怒转化为动力，重新投入到拯救我们国家的行动中。」
